What is GMR?

Graduate Master Remodeler (GMR) allows recognized CGR’s to attain further recognition for their commitment to educational excellence and longevity in the remodeling industry. This is a new program designed to be the master level of the current CGR designation. It allows you the opportunity to take your CGR designation to the next level.

Candidates for the Graduate Master Remodeler program must have the following:

  • Hold a an active CGR designation for 9 years or an active CR (Certified Remodeler) certification from NARI (National Association of the Remodeling Industry) for 10 years
  • Have 15 years remodeling industry experience

Continuing Education Requirements:

Complete 12 hours of continuing education every three years. At least six hours must come from an NAHB University of Housing course.
