INDIANAPOLIS (December 21, 2023) – The Indiana Builders Association (IBA) recently awarded the 2023 Remodeler of the Year award to DJ Tavernier, founder and owner of Mishawaka-based River Valley Construction Group, during IBA’s Annual Conference and Board of Directors Meeting. The Remodeler of the Year award recognizes exemplary association involvement at all levels, superior business management, and outstanding contributions to the remodeling industry.

Tavernier has been extensively involved within the Home Builders Association of St. Joseph Valley, including serving as Board President and on several committees. Tavernier has been in the remodeling industry for years and received many accolades such as Deck Specialist Magazine’s Specialist of the Year, and the South Bend Tribune’s Readers’ Choice and Best of the Best awards. Recently, Tavernier was named to the Michiana 40 Under 40 list by the South Bend Regional Chamber of Commerce.
