02 Oct Indiana Builders Association responds to August permit numbers for Indiana
“Indiana home builders are continuing to keep pace with the growing housing demand from home buyers. However, we are still facing concerns in terms of rising lumber prices and supply shortages, but low interest rates and steady demand are helping bolster single-family construction growth throughout the state. Indiana’s August single-family permit numbers are up 10% from August of 2019, and I believe we will continue to see a rise in permit numbers in comparison to 2019,” said Indiana Builders Association CEO Rick Wajda.
