02 Sep Indiana Builders Association responds to July permit numbers for Indiana
INDIANAPOLIS (Sept. 2, 2020) – “The Indiana home building industry continues to see an unprecedented rebound in single-family permit pulls for July. Housing demands, supported by low interest rates and a new consumer focus on home functionality, are taking center stage in Indiana’s recovering economy. However, the shortage in important building materials like lumber is an issue that the building industry is closely monitoring. As the lumber shortage continues to affect housing prices, the importance of association advocacy becomes more prevalent,” said Indiana Builders Association CEO Rick Wajda.
