The U.S. Census Bureau has released its statewide building permit report for August 2024, revealing a significant uptick in single-family housing permits across Indiana. According to the data, 2,013 permits were issued in August, a 16% increase from the 1,738 permits pulled in August 2023.This number is up 19% from July of 2024, when 1,687 permits were pulled.
